Connect Google Calendar
Connecting Google Calendar lets your agents check your availability and create calendar events. This is what lets an agent book a meeting with a lead without double-booking you.
What your agents can do
- Check your availability before proposing or booking a time.
- Create calendar events for meetings and reminders.
- Keep scheduling in step with your email and CRM activity.
Before you start
Like Gmail, Raileon connects to Google Calendar through your own Google OAuth app, so your credentials stay yours. You'll need:
- Access to the Google Cloud Console to create a free OAuth app. If you already connected Gmail, you can reuse the same Google app — just add the Calendar scope.
- The Google account whose calendar you want your agents to use.
Connect Google Calendar
Open Integrations
In your dashboard, go to Integrations in the left sidebar and select Connect on the Google Calendar card.
Create or reuse your Google OAuth app
In the Google Cloud Console, create an OAuth 2.0 client (or reuse your Gmail one). Copy the redirect URI Raileon shows into your app's "Authorized redirect URIs".
Paste your app credentials
Copy your Google app's Client ID and Client secret into Raileon and save. They're encrypted and used only to connect your account.
Sign in with Google
Select Connect, choose the Google account whose calendar you want to use, then review and approve the access being requested.
Confirm it is connected
You return to Raileon and the card shows Connected.
Disconnect Google Calendar
Open Integrations, find the Google Calendar card, and select Disconnect. Access is revoked immediately.
