Connect Aircall
Last updated
Connecting Aircall lets your Modules look at your call history and keep your contacts and call notes up to date. You paste an API ID and token from Aircall, and Raileon keeps them encrypted.
What your Modules can do
- List your recent calls: who called, which line, how long it lasted, whether it was answered, which team member took it, and its tags.
- Read one call, including the comments your team left on it.
- Find a contact by phone number or email address.
- Add a comment to a call. Your whole Aircall team can see it.
- Add a new contact to your Aircall directory.
Reading never needs approval. Comments and new contacts are held until you approve them.
Your Modules cannot place calls or send texts through Aircall, and they do not listen to recordings.
Before you start
You need to be an admin of your Aircall account to create an API key.
Connect Aircall
Open Apps
In your dashboard, go to Apps in the left sidebar and select Connect on the Aircall card.
Generate an API key
In the Aircall Dashboard, open Integrations, then API keys, and choose Generate API key. Name it, for example Raileon, and confirm.
Copy the ID and the token
Aircall shows an API ID and an API token. Copy both before you close the window, because the token is shown only once.
Paste and test
Paste both into Raileon and select Test connection. Raileon checks they work before saving.
Confirm it is connected
The Aircall card shows Connected.
Disconnect Aircall
Open Apps, find the Aircall card, and select Disconnect. You can also delete the API key in the Aircall Dashboard to cut off access right away.
