Connect Cal.com

Last updated

Connecting Cal.com lets your Modules share your booking links, look up who has booked time with you, and cancel or move a booking. This works with accounts on cal.com. Self-hosted Cal.com is not supported yet.

What your Modules can do

  • List your meeting types and share the booking link for any of them.
  • List your upcoming bookings, with the time and who booked.
  • Cancel a booking or move it to a new time. Cal.com tells the person who booked, so Raileon holds these for your approval first.

Before you start

You need a Cal.com account and permission to create an API key in it. The key is stored encrypted and is never shown back to you or to your Modules.

Connect Cal.com

  1. Open Apps

In your dashboard, go to Apps in the left sidebar and select Connect on the Cal.com card.

  2. Create an API key in Cal.com

In Cal.com, open Settings, then Developer, then API keys. Add a key, give it a name such as "Raileon", and copy it. It starts with cal_.

  3. Paste the key and test

Paste the key into Raileon and select Test connection. Raileon checks that Cal.com accepts it before saving.

  4. Confirm it is connected

    The Cal.com card shows Connected.

Disconnect Cal.com

Open Apps, find the Cal.com card, and select Disconnect. You can also delete the key in Cal.com to cut off access right away.
